This £250k Cotswolds church for sale is a Grand Designs project

por Tanja Dwyer (2020-02-20)

At first glance, this disused chapel in South Gloucestershire may look like a crumbling wreck with no hope of ever being a comfortable family home.

But take a closer look and it has huge potential for those seeking a project worthy of being on TV's Grand Designs.

The building sits on a plot of 0.4 acres, in the prestigious celebrity haven of the Cotswolds and boasts extensive countryside views.

The former church has a guide price of £250,000 and is being sold at auction later this month

Celebrities who have bought homes in the Cotswolds include model Kate Moss, interior designer Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen and the Beckhams.

The Grade II listed building covers 1,822 square feet, which is equivalent to more than half the size of a tennis court.
