Swami Amar Jyoti was born upon May 6, 1928 in a village in northwestern India, not far from the banks of the Indus River. His youth interests were numerous: science, math, music, writing, cycling, drama and sports, and He brilliantly mastered all of these. His college education was briefly interrupted by the partition of India in 1947, however He quickly moved to a college in Mumbai (Bombay). |
