The public's absence of rely on drug rehab programs is resulting in some dangerously bad concepts, such as putting people addicted to alcohol or drugs on some other drug, or even worse, legislating drugs. These are not options, they are problems masquerading as services. The call for legalization of drugs is the most engaging proof that drug rehabilitation is essentially a hit-or-miss failure in numerous, if not most, settings. This is total surrender, a complete capitulation to the power of drugs. It states, "Okay, drugs. You win. Come on in and rule our lives since there's absolutely nothing we can do about you." |
