When I worked at a newspaper task right out of college, a female called our sports editor daily trying to get her college-grad child a job. She would certainly also drop by and hand over his resume as well as ask to talk to the editor. My 22-year-old self was alarmed on his behalf. It's reasonable that a parent would want their kid to prosper, however there are limitations to what you can do on their part. This plainly pushed passed those limitations. |
